Nihonkai Kototoi Shop

This place is amazing! We went there around 7 o clock and it was really quite, but within a few minutes the locals walked in. The chefs are very friendly and funny and they make the sushi right in front of you. The price quality ratio is also very good! If you are there please ask for Nema's smile :)

Here is traditional sushi restaurant. You can order your sushi directly to the chef in front of u. The fish is fresh and tasty while the price is a little bit higher than normal conveyor belt sushi restaurant while the experience is different and vibe is good

I enjoyed a very tasty, great value tuna rice bowl (鮪2色丼 with otoro, chutoro, and akami), lime sour, and Nema-san’s smile and generosity! A cheerful pair of regulars sat next to me and ordered several dishes including sashimi, firefly squid, salad - and more. Cash only. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area!

Excellent sushi at inexpensive price. I'm used to paying 3 times as much for the same quality of sushi in the USA. No English but they have menu with pictures and prices so if you know the most basic Japanese, you can get by. It's a little off of Kappabashi St, so you'll probably be the only foreigner in there.

Extremely high quality sushi at a fantastic price. A real traditional old school feel with a fun and energetic set of staff - English was limited but the menu is easy to work from and the staff are very accommodating.
