Visited during a previous trip to Tokyo while in the Tsukiji Fish Market area. They offer mainly onigiri (rice balls) that are freshly made and come with a variety of different flavours/assortments. They also offer other items as well such as sushi rolls if looking to try some sushi at a bit more affordable price relative to other spots in the area. Their tuna rolls were one of those affordable sushi options, as it used the more leaner cuts of tuna but came at a much larger size roll. The sushi came in three pieces, but were a decent size overall based on portion and for the price paid. Due to the affordable prices especially for tuna, their sushi rolls often sell out fairly quickly as well. Overall, it’s a decent spot within Tsukiji to get some affordable items to try given the portions of onigiri and other items that are available.

This is a famous onigiri shop serving up some delicious rice balls. There is quite a selection to choose from, so you’ll find something you want. I went with the salmon wasabi (鮭わさび) and the fatty salmon (鮭はらす). They were both excellent, and felt like a recipe that’s been used for a long time. You’ll have to line up a bit to get something, but it’s worth your time.

Warm, full-filling orinigis, and many flavors as well. The rice is so soft, sticky, and well- paired with the fillings inside, a bit pricey but totally worth it. You have to queue a bit but the line moves fast.

Best onigiri and rolls of my life. There is usually a line the stock is being prepared freshly in the back. You might not find what you are looking for all the time.

Loved their rice balls! Freshly made. The seasoned egg was amazingly good! 明太子was a bit too salty for me 😂
