This night market in Ao Nang is an absolute must-visit! The food court offers an incredible variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. We sampled a little bit of everything—from amazingly fresh seafood to more adventurous options like crocodile, which was definitely a unique experience! There are countless smoothie stands, fresh fruit juices, desserts, and sweet treats to choose from. The ice cream was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of the evening. The market has a great atmosphere, with something always happening, whether it's live music or fun activities and attractions for children, making it enjoyable for visitors of all ages. The layout is also very well organized, especially the dining area, with plenty of comfortable seating that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, it's a fantastic place to spend an evening, try amazing local food, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The market is a great place to visit, especially in the evening. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy a meal, and you'll find a wide variety of delicious food at reasonable prices. 😋 Every evening at 9:00 PM, there's a fantastic fire show that's definitely worth watching. The market is also a great option on rainy days, as many of the stalls and seating areas are covered. Surrounding the food market, you'll find lots of shops selling souvenirs, clothing, and local products. If you're visiting with children, there are also several fun activities, including arcade games, go-karts, and carnival-style games where you can throw darts at balloons or knock down targets.
Walking around the food stalls in the summer guarantees to feel like walking into a sauna, but outside of this area, it's surprisingly so much more air and space comparing to your average touristy Thai night market. Lots of good food, but most of them are more expensive (since it's for tourists mainly), and only take cash/QR code for Thai banks (not even Alipay will work). This sadly limited our choices of food a lot. In the end we had THE BEST pineapple fried rice with shrimp from a stall to the very front-right of the food area—it's the place with around 4-5 chairs to sit outside, and a more spacious kitchen inside—for 150 baht (cash only). 150 was more than you'd like for fried rice but eh you can't really choose in this night market. Staff can provide with a few more chairs if you want. There seem to be only a mother with her daughter who runs the store so go support them! Other than that, we got pink milk and butterfly pea milk from another stall, which were okay. I liked butterfly pea milk more, but it was essentally just pink milk WITH a bit of butterfly pea infused tea. It's safe to always ask for less sweet, because it's most likely gonna be diabetically sweet 💀 like the pink milk I got + 6700 other drinks I've had from Thai night market stalls. Other than food, the accessory shops are cute too! We found unique pieces. Just note that you can always grab your chance to get a discount by simply asking nicely:) like casually naming a reasonable price or just asking and letting them name a price. Most of the item prices like jewellery are higher than it should be.
Fun vibe, Great Energy !! Loved this market right by the beach. Thai classics, and fresh smoothies. Grab some food, sit in the center, and enjoy the free live music and awesome fire show. Definitely worth visiting when you are in Ao Nang! Not much food options for vegetarians, but do try the authentic coconut icecream. Super lively, clean, and easily walkable from the main beach area. Don't miss it if you're in Krabi!
Ao Nang Landmark Night Market has a really lively feel in the evening, and I liked being able to wander between so many different food stalls. There’s a huge range of snacks, drinks, and street food choices, so it’s easy to find something new to try. It’s a fun place to spend time if you’re in the area and want a casual night out.
