Kodam Kitchen was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Thai flavors and generous portions, all at very reasonable prices. The service was quick and efficient, even though the restaurant was always busy. It's clear that the place is in high demand because of the quality of the food, and it's definitely worth the wait if there's a queue. This restaurant truly made our Thailand trip even more memorable. If you're looking for great Thai food, excellent value, and a lively atmosphere, Kodam Kitchen is a must-visit. We would happily come back again!

This unassuming spot in Krabi had great reviews, so a couple of friends and I decided to check it out. I wasn’t ready to try the best Massaman Curry of the trip here, and to find classic Thai staples prepared carefully, freshly, and beautifully. The noodle dishes were also great (especially the Pad See Ew), and the curry was to die for. Highly recommended! Highlights: • Massaman Curry: Probably the best Massaman I tried while in Thailand. Smokier than other ones I tried, it was a richer, darker red, which makes me think that they might either use more chillies or toast them for longer than other places I tried. Whatever it was, it brought the taste to a whole other level, which I loved. Smokey, creamy, spicy goodness, I was eating the sauce by the spoonful for dessert. Amazing! • Noodle Dishes: Both noodle dishes were very good, but the Pad See Ew was a bit better in my opinion. Maybe I was Pad Thai-ed out but the Pad See Ew stood out with its softer, longer noodles and larger pieces of beef compared to the Pad Thai. Still recommend both though! Lowlights: • Pineapple Fried Rice: I wasn’t a huge fan of the pineapple fried rice; it was a bit too heavy on turmeric which overpowered the rest of the ingredients, and gave the rice a bit of an unappetizing artificial yellow color that was too intense. Not my favorite. Price: $$

We visited Kodam Kitchen during our stay in Ao Nang, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots for authentic Thai food. The atmosphere is simple, cozy, and very local, which adds to the charm. All the staff and the manager were welcoming and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was the highlight — everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We tried a variety of traditional dishes, and each one was well-prepared with rich, balanced spices. The curries were especially fragrant and creamy, and the grilled dishes had that perfect smoky touch. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get. It’s clear that this place focuses on authentic home-style cooking rather than anything overly touristy. Overall, if you’re looking for a genuine Thai dining experience in Ao Nang, this place is definitely worth visiting. We would absolutely come back again!

Great spot in Ao Nang! The place was very busy, but the service was still impressively fast and well-organized. I ordered the Massaman curry with a Coke, and it absolutely hit the spot. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also had some deep-fried prawns wrapped in noodles, I’m not sure what they’re officially called, but they were delicious and a great addition to the meal. There was a short wait when I arrived, but the staff handled it smoothly and I got a table within about 5 minutes. This was actually a recommendation from my taxi driver, and it turned out to be a really good one. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ao Nang!

The food here completely exceeded my expectations. The Thai Red Curry Duck & Green Thai curry chicken was phenomenal—rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. What really stood out was the creative presentation! The rice was beautifully molded into a heart shape and uniquely served inside a banana leaf cone. Playful, beautiful, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
