Wanted to eat near the hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. As a southeast Asian with frequent exposure to Thai food, I found myself enjoying what they had to offer. The roti was crispy, the Thai tea was rich enough and the dishes were sufficiently spicy with good smoky flavour. The food also came fast! Funnily enough we didn’t try the pad thai despite the restaurant name. I have a nut allergy and the restaurant understood well. They informed me of items that have nuts (that were excluded) and checked on other allergens we might have. A family member ordered a Nutella roti and they came to us to make sure I did not eat due to the hazelnuts. I appreciate the attentiveness!
A random dinner choice based on foot traffic brought us to the best tasting pad Thai and thai pancake which quickly became the highlight of our days in Krabi! Service was fast and efficient, the place was clean amidst the hustle and bustle and of course the food was amazing from the spring rolls that were perfectly balanced, the chicken pad thai that made me speechless and the banana Nutella thai pancake that we had to practice self control on since its always the 1st one to be served! Truly the best combo ever!
My wife and I have been in Thailand for 12 days, and we've eaten Pad Thai at a different place every day. Of all the places we've tried, this was the best. Special mention goes to the shrimp Pad Thai—absolutely delicious! The wings are also perfect, and other dishes we've tried on subsequent visits have been equally impressive. ☺️
I tried the Pad Thai and my friend ordered a curry. Both dishes tasted good and felt authentic, and the overall quality was solid. The price was fair for what you get and the location and service were good. However, while the Pad Thai was tasty, I wouldn’t say it was the best one I’ve had in Thailand. It was enjoyable, but I felt like something was missing that would have made it really stand out. Overall, it’s still a decent place to eat if you’re nearby, but in my opinion there are also places with even better Pad Thai.
The best Tom Yum Gai (Chicken) and morning glory we had in Thailand this trip. The Pad Thai was also super authentic. Thai family restaurant, no frills, just great food and service!
