Khao Yum Nai Baan

Khao Yum Nai Baan is a great pit stop if you're travelling to Aonong and looking for authentic local food. Some of the must-try dishes are the Hat Yai fried chicken, Thai laksa, and nasi kerabu. They're among the restaurant's most popular items, and the portions and prices offer excellent value for money. If you're staying at one of the nearby hotels, I'd actually recommend skipping the hotel breakfast and coming here instead. You'll get a much more authentic southern Thai breakfast experience, and in my opinion, it's worth every baht. Simple, tasty, and great value—definitely a place I'd stop by again whenever I'm in the area. 👍🍗🍜

Southern Thai breakfast. Delicious Southern Thai food Nasi Kerabu/Khao Yum is a delicious rice/noodle salad with Thai herbs plus Fried chicken and Thai ice tea. Total 90 baht. Served by friendly ladies. Open until 11 am. Highly recommend if you're looking for local and authentic Southern Thai fare for breakfast.

We came here for breakfast three mornings in a row! An absolute hidden gem, very affordable! The food is delicious especially the rice soup, very popular with the locals as well!

we ordered the khanom jeem, coffee, tea and 2 fried chicken fresh out of the fryer! we also got the patongo as a dessert. overall spent 155 thb. it was quite a good breakfast 🤤 the khanom jeem tasted quite yums with a big plate of fresh vegetables! one thing to note is that it is VERY popular with the locals and the malay tourists so the place will be quite packed. as non-thai & non-malay speaking tourists, i would highly recommend being prepared in knowing what you want to order. loved the vibes! super local & cozy morning vibes ~~~ edit: went back for the nasi kerabu and pulut ayam 🤤 highly recommend the nasi kerabu!!!! the side of veggies was good too 🥗

Went for breakfast here early in the morning. There are a lot of foods available from rice to like desert. I ordered a nasi kerabu with fried chicken and it was so damn good. The portion is fair and the price is very reasonable around 60 THB. The service is also nice and the waiting time is short. There are a lot of tables for dine in. Great atmosphere suitable to come with family and friends and most importantly the restaurant is clean. The workers are all nice and helpful. The restaurant is easy to spot it is located just beside the road. Totally recommended..
