I’ve had Yoshinoya before back home, but Yoshinoya in Japan is on a completely different level. Everything just tastes better here. The beef is noticeably different — more tender, more flavorful, and better quality overall. The balance of sauce to meat to rice is perfect, and it feels fresher and more satisfying. There are also way more menu options in Japan. So many variations and seasonal items that we don’t get elsewhere, which makes it fun to try new things each time. It’s quick, affordable, and consistently good. If you think Yoshinoya is just “fast food,” try it in Japan — it might change your mind.
My favourite early morning breakfast option. Must try the eel set meal it is very affordable and delicious. The eel is soft and tasty. Food always comes out fast. Taste is always delicious. I loved yoshinoya when i was in Japan, theres always one nearby.
"Dude, you're on vacation in Kyoto, why are you eating at Yoshiniya?" Because some days I'm wiped and don't wanna wander around a packed shopping area looking for something cheap and tasty. There aren't a lot of counter seats on the ground floor, but there's tables upstairs. Ordering is via multi-lingual tablet. And while the kalbi isn't the best you'll ever have, it's wild how good it is for the price. I'm writing this review from DFW having just returned from my trip, and it's worth pointing out that we fed a family of three here for the cost of one entree in this freaking airport.
1. The food was great, order the pork add on and it was good. 2. If you want to enjoy your food, go upstairs.
The tongue is tasty but a little salty for my tastes. But the curry is good. And most importantly is kids friendly restaurant.
