Wagyu Hokusai

Visited Wagyu Hokusai and got lucky coming after lunch no queue at all. The wagyu was amazing, perfectly melted in my mouth super oishii and delicious. I recommend asking the server how to eat your dish, as each menu has its own way to enjoy it. Great experience overall, would definitely come back!

One of the best dishes I ate during my trip to Japan, located in Kyoto. An interesting presentation of the food in boxes, we tried it with wagyu and minced meat. You order via a machine. Friendly staff and excellent food.

An amazing place 10/10 honeslty the staff and service was impeccable! You order at the door on screen and then give them your ticket, the food was honeslty some of the best I’ve ever had. Wish I’d of gone back again, the presentation as well was to die for. Super great place to eat and relax!

This is the first place I want to visit whenever I return to Kyoto. The food was fantastic and extremely affordable. I ordered the Double Hamburger Steak, and it was the best choice I've ever made. During our eight-day stay in Kyoto, my wife would always say 'Again?' whenever I mentioned eating at Hokusai. :))) The staff were very kind and friendly. On our last day in Kyoto, she finally gave me the green light to eat at Hokusai again. I tried the Kobe Beef this time, and it was absolute perfection. I'll definitely be back! Kyoto, please continue to treat me well as always.

Delicious Wagyu, but coming back for the Kobe! The Wagyu beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, making for a perfectly balanced meal. However, seeing everyone else order the Kobe beef gave me serious food envy. As amazing as the Wagyu was, the Kobe is clearly the true star of the menu. I can’t wait to come back and try it next time!
