Great bakery with inside seating and credit card payment option. Very reasonable price at the prime location.
I stopped by Sizuya in Gion for a short break and was pleasantly surprised. The tea was served hot and in a real ceramic cup - a rare touch these days that made it feel special. Service was fast, polite, and genuinely friendly. The staff made me feel welcome, and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. Great place to rest for a moment while exploring Gion. Highly recommend!
Nice clean space with friendly staff. CASH ONLY. Their pasteries are amazing!! I also got the beef cutlet sandwich, which was much less impressive. Overall a nice casual spot. Great for a quick pastry and coffee.
Love the egg sando - bread light as feather, egg decadent. Spot on.
A nice oasis in a very busy intersection. Just enough delicious baked goods and a few drinks to chose from. Only downside is if you dine in, drinks are more pricey than takeout. Accepts cash and credit cards. Service was decent and friendly. Staff even said goodbye when I left. I tried a sandwich selection, marbled chocolate loaf, and a sesame bun with meat filling. All excellent. Ordered oolong tea and sadly came with a tea bag and no extra hot water. Labels of food are in Japanese so don’t be surprised or feel entitled. Be mindful in Asian bakeries to use tongs and tray, not your hands to select food. And don’t ask for a refund for something you’ve touched and paid for. Basic etiquette.
