Perfect place to wind down after a long day and enjoy some Japanese desserts. 🍵🍡 You’ll need to take your shoes off before going in, and you sit on the floor in a traditional Japanese-style setting. For visitors and tourists, it’s a really nice experience and something a little different. If you’re into Japanese culture and want to experience something more traditional, this is definitely worth checking out.
A quaint little hideaway. Warabi mochi was SO good! We arrived around 3pm on a wet day and were third in line, but it was totally worth the wait. When we were on our way out, there were 10+ tables waiting in line. Definitely give this gem a visit when you’re in the area.
One of the best matcha mochi I’ve ever tasted. This is warabi mochi, which is even better than regular mochi. The texture is unique—soft, silky, and slightly bouncy—making every bite incredibly satisfying. The matcha flavor is rich and perfectly balanced. Definitely a must-try if you love Japanese desserts.
This is an excellent dessert spot and served as the perfect place to unwind after our Japanese kimono photoshoot session nearby. I am generally not a fan of overly sweet desserts, but the flavors here are perfectly balanced and truly outstanding. It is a must-visit location if you are in the area.
came on a Friday afternoon around 5.30pm. Note that they only accept cash and you need a minimum order of one item per person. I got their warabimochi which was recommended by many on social media, as well as the matcha milk. The warabimochi definitely lived up to its hype, and I hope to be back in Japan again to try this.
